ADOPT AN OTTER!

Mr. Stinky Fish Face - Stinky was born in the wild of Florida around February 2, 2010 and came to Zooville on April 2, 2010.  Stinky arrived with a swollen back leg and not able to use it well.  He had several exams, but could not find the cause of the problem.  He had been hand reared by someone without otter experience, and we now believe many of his issues are the result of well-intended human ignorance.  It was also discovered Stinky had pneumonia, which kept occurring regardless of treatment. He frequently spiked extremely high fevers that caused him to be placed in ice water baths!  As he matured, it became more evident the extent of the damage to the forming of his bones, and while he gets around without problem, it is clear his bone structure is not normal. He is a happy go lucky otter and loves to show off his swimming skills for his adoring public!
Tolo - Tolo was born around June 29, 2005 and came to Zooville on April 29, 2007.  He was being raised for an education animal, but changes in circumstance caused him to need to be placed.  He came to us in beautiful condition and had been wonderfully taken care of.  He is the most high strung energetic animal we have ever come across, and he has the appetite to go with it.  He can eat as much as an animal 4 times his size, and burns off every calorie!
Pudge - Pudge was born in 2005 and came to us on August 1, 2007.  Pudge had been a pet, but when her owners got divorced they had to place her while they relocated and got their lives straightened out.  Changes in life situations are the cause of many animals needing a home - and that is true for non-domestic animals as well as domestic.  Pudge was loved and well cared for, and her owners were broken hearted when they could no longer keep her.  Having heard that we had just taken in Tolo, they sent Pudge to be his companion!  She is as high strung as Tolo and has every bit as big an appetite!  Always on the go, we are preparing to start construction on a new, much larger and taller habitat for these arboreal energetic aniamls.
